Practical PEPs - more than a Piece of Extra Paper

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The need to comply with legislation and paperwork linked to looked after children can be time consuming. This course will demonstrate practical ways to compile PEPs which are relevant, user friendly, informative and give staff the opportunity to track progress effectively.    Recently there have been significant changes in the way pupil premium is allocated, how its use is scrutinised and whether the money spent has had a positive impact on the learning and wellbeing of the child.

Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the role and responsibilities of the LAC teacher, how to promote wellbeing and learning through PEP, effective use of pupil premium and how the PEP should be used to effectively plan smooth transition through the key stages.
